[karachi-Friends] Worship Allah Alone

Forward as Received!

Dear Ayub Sahib
You can read the comments of one of my life long friends.

Sorry to say you have still avoided the real issue. My question was; "Please do clarify if it is correct to go to the graves and Mazaars of Sufia and Walyuhhah to ask for our wishes. Of course you may go to offer Fateh for THEIR deliverence as they cannot do it anymore, now that they are no more in this world. But to pray at graves and ask for their help for your own deliverence and wishes will tentamount to Shirk. And Shirk is THE greates sin."

Instead of replying to my querry you have quoted another verse, to which I totally agree, but it does not answer my question. By side stepping the issue we cannot come to a conclusion.

I am concerned with the issue for many reasons. First the Mazars of the Sufia etc have become centers of drug dealing, gang warfares, selling of girls who have been abducted. Secondly these are being used for business. People give couldron full of food for the poor but in actual practice it is businessmen who benefit by it. (Reportedly they buy back what has been given to the poor and add it into next couldron). Thirdly these Mazars are meeting places of secret services of India, Israel and USA. Fourthly these are also now planning and execution services of Taliban and other terrorist organisation.

I was going to submit a comlete methodology to eradicate these practices from Mazars but I shall wait for the comments of my friends.

With best wishes and regards.
Ghulam Yusuf

Dear all,
Frankly I dont want to become part of the controversy but
a reference of an 'aya' has been given by Mr Ayub, which has
not been interpreted correctly.Anyway I submit another 'aya'
translation of which makes the issue very clear. This is part of
' Ayat-u-l kursi'.... Mun zallazi yashfa'u 'inda-hu illa be-izneh...
Have these peers have had the permission from Allah to do
safarish to Him ?
Allah has repeatedly Said in the Holy Book .... Ask from Me
and Me alone Directly cos I am always attentive to you....
No I am not a religous  scholar but I do read the Holy Book
with thorough understanding as well as I use my common sense!

Dear Ghulam Bhai

Assalam Alaikum.

I liked the way you have put the debate. It is so different from the way Maria has started.

Your comments expresses your keen interest to know the facts and learn more about the issue.

First of all...

In witnesseth of my LORD ALLAH, let me admit, it is true to say that Allah alone is to be worshipped and it is He whom we have to approach for forgivence and for our needs. This is what is clear from our Quran. I again use the Quran because without the guidance of Quran and Hadees, we are bound to go astray.

Now I narrate another verse from the Quran and hope you will understand. The verse says "

Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo ittaqoo Allaha waibtaghoo ilayhi alwaseelata wajahidoo fee sabeelihi laAAallakum tuflihoona
5:35 O ye who believe! Do your duty to Allah, seek the means of approach unto Him, and strive with might and main in his cause: that ye may prosper.

So you see brother, Allah in the above verse is asking the beleivers to seek the means (waseela) to approach him.

And the means are, those sacred people who gave their lives, in the path of Allah and who were defined by Allah as the ones who will never die or perish and who will always remain alive.

When we go to the mazaars, all good muslims are aware that they do not denounce the authorities of Allah, instead they seek the help of Auliya Allah to attain the closeness of Allah and have HIS blessings.

Hope I have made it clear.

Ayub

With due respect I have to submit the following.

There is a Hadis: Do not mind who is saying, listen to what he is saying, (or words to that effect)

Instead of getting angry over what the writer has written and calling him names would it not be better to consider cool mindedly what he has written. If you disagree with him then give him your own cogent view point. Neither he nor other readers of the email will get a good impression if one starts calling names. This means that you have no argument in rebuttle.

Secondly, the Holy Quran is not a very simple book for fools like Maria to understand. As per Quran's word, to get guidance from the HOLY QURAN requires the blessings of ALLAH.

This argument has nothing to do with the points raised by the writer. He has not mentioned Quran. He is mentioning the practices that Muslims are following. One has to write about those practices. Whether the writer understands Quran is not an issue.

Thirdly it is quite logical to mention that Allah alone is the one who is to be worshiped. I wish Ayub had also added that Allah alone is the one from whom we have to ask forgiveness of our sins and also pray for our wishes. Please do clarify if it is correct to go to the graves and Mazaars of Sufia and Walyuhhah to ask for our wishes. Of course you may go to offer Fateh for their deliverence as they cannot do it anymore, now that they are no more in this world. But to pray at graves and ask for their help for your own deliverence and wishes will tentamount to Shirk. And Shirk is THE greates sin.

With best wishes and regards.

You bloody fool, Maria Shaban

Who are you first of all, expose yourself if you have the guts and see the result.

MY COMMENTS FOR ALL MUSLIMS AND NON-MUSLIMS WHO READ THIS.

1. First of all it is totally wrong to compare the practices of my hindu borthers with that of the muslims. Are you aware you are creating ill-feelings between the two communities.

2. Secondly, the Holy Quran is not a very simple book for fools like Maria to understand. As per Quran's word, to get guidance from the HOLY QURAN requires the blessings of ALLAH.

3. Allah says in Quran, that it is only HE who ie eligible for worship and none other. In the same Quran He asks the mankind to seek HIS help and guidance to wlk the rightest path of life. Refer, Surah Fateha " Ehdinas Siraatal Mustaqima Siratal Lazeena An Amtaa Alaihim". The verse says O Allah take me and guide me through the rightest path, the path of those whom you have rewarded, the path of your beloved ones and blesses ones.

4. Now who are the blessed ones and Allah's beloved. Again as per Quran, it is Min an Nabiyeena, Was Siddiqeena Was Shuhadaa Was Soaaliheen, Wa hasuna Uulaaika Rafeeka. In this verse, except for the word Nabiyeena (which relates to the prophets) all other persons relates to generally all the blessed souls which includes the Auliya Allah also.

Ayub
