MQM Spying On Pakistan

MQM caught spying red-handed for foreign nationals and smuggling classified state material outside Pakistan and violated Official Secret Act. According to a report published in the press Waseem Akthar (MNA) and former advisor to the Chief Minister on policing caught with spying devices and equipments. It is reported that MQM members in Karachi were sending recordings of the meetings with President Asif Zaradri, Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilliani, Chief Minister, and Interior Minister   Rehman Malik. MQM also recoded and smuggled classified proceedings of sensitive meetings at the Rangers Headquarters in Karachi discussing security plan of Karachi most important city of Pakistan. The mode of transfer of the information is not been mentioned but one can assume sending as multi media file (voice recording) via internet or by an airline employee coming to London from Karachi.

Questions come to mind are why MQM politicians recorded and smuggled sensitive recordings to London: (a) they are forced to do for third party or parties (b) Altaf Hussain's mistrust on local leaders in Karachi (c) Paranoia and HPD of Altaf Hussain.?


According to a mental health expert who examined speeches, videos, dressing, body language, and have met Mr Altaf Hussain in London suggested that, "he might be suffering from Paranoia and Histrionic personality disorder. HPD is defined by the American Psychiatric Association as a personality disorder characterized by a pattern of excessive emotionality and attention-seeking, including an excessive need for approval and inappropriate seductiveness, usually beginning in early adulthood. These individuals are lively, dramatic, enthusiastic, and flirtatious. They may be inappropriately sexually provocative, express strong emotions with an impressionistic style, and be easily influenced by others. Associated features may include egocentrism, self-indulgence, continuous longing for appreciation, feelings that are easily hurt, and persistent manipulative behaviour to achieve their own needs."


MQM asked two PPP sitting ministers Mr Zulifqar Mirza and Agha Sirja Durrani to have their mental health examination. Earlier they left a similar message on the cell phone of a senior journalist who exposed MQM's sinister plots.



Keeping in view MQM's profile it is highly likely that they have been sending by internet. It is possible that copies of those audio files kept in the main servers of the internet providers at various locations in the world including Singapore. One can assume that British GCHQ might have intercepted these communications as they monitor all faxes, emails, and communications in and out of the country. It is possible that Indians might have access to the files too as they might have access to the servers. MQM has put Pakistani security at risk and violated the official Pakistan's Secret Act by spying for foreign nationals based in foreign country.



It is reported that MQM not only recorded classified proceedings of city's security plans with security and law enforcement agencies but also smuggled them out of the country violating official Secret Act. MQM was sending classified Pakistani Government secrets to London. Mr Zulifqar Mirza minister responsible for security of the province had the information of MQM spying network and complained to the security agencies who acted swiftly and confiscated spying devices from Mr Waseem Akthar Member National Assembly of Pakistan. Mr Mirza sadly feeling helpless and protested to the President of Pakistan who seemingly protecting MQM beyond imaginations. He demanded ban on the MQM members participating in all sensitive government meetings.

Loyalties of the MQM leadership including Altaf Hussain were/are always questionable. Few years ago Altaf Hussain called "creation of Pakistan as biggest blunder in the history of mankind while standing on the Indian soil and asked Indians to give political asylum to MQM members'.

English Translation of Al-Quran

[23].Surah Al-Muminun [The Believers]

Ayat 21. And Verily! In the cattle there is indeed a lesson for you. Allah give you to drink (milk) of that which is in their bellies. And there are, in them, numerous (other) benefits for you, and of them you eat.

Ayat 22. And on them, and on ships you are carried. 

[Tafseer] of ayat 21. And in cattle (too) ye have an instructive example: from within their bodies Allah produce (milk) for you to drink; there are, in them, (besides), numerous (other) benefits for you; and of their (meat) ye eat; 'Ibrah: the root meaning of the verb is "to interpret, to expound, or instruct', as in Surah 12:43; the noun means an interpretation, or example or Sign that instructs, as here. From cattle we get milk and meat; also from their skins we make leather for shoes, boots, straps, saddlery, and numerous other uses; from camel's hair and sheep's wool we weave cloth, hangings, carpets, etc.: from the horns of cattle we make cups and articles of ornament or use; and camels, horses, donkeys, mules, etc., are used for riding, carrying loads, or drawing vehicles (as mention in Surah Yaseen ayat 71-73).After that, at length ye will die Our physical death in this mortal life seems to make a break. 

English Translation of Hadith  

Hazrat Ibn `Umar (May Allah be pleased with them) reported: Whenever the Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) mounted his camel for setting out on a journey, he would recite: "Allahu Akbar (Allah is Greatest),'' thrice. Then he [SAWW](PBUH) would supplicate: "Subhanal-ladhi sakh-khara lana hadha, wa ma kunna lahu muqrinin, wa inna ila Rabbina lamunqalibun. Allahumma inna nas'aluka fi safarina hadh al-birra wat-taqwa, wa minal-`amali ma tarda. Allahumma hawwin `alaina safarana hadha, watwi `anna bu`dahu. Allahumma Antas-Sahibu fissafari, wal-Khalifatu fil-ahli. Allahumma inni a`udhu bika min wa`ta'is-safari, wa kaabatil-manzari, wa su'il-munqalabi fil-mali wal-ahli wal-waladi (Far removed from imperfection is the One Who has made this subservient to us, for we have no power to subjugate it, and certainly to our Rubb shall we return. O Allah, we ask You during this journey of ours for righteousness, piety and such deeds as are pleasing to You. O Allah, make easy for us this journey of ours and make the distance short for us. O Allah, You are our Companion during the journey and the Guardian of the family and the property in our absence. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the hardships of travelling, unhappiness connected with ghastly scenes and evil turns in property and family).'' When he returned, he recited this supplication making addition of these words: "Ayibuna, ta'ibuna, `abiduna, li-Rabbina hamidun (We are those who return; those who repent; those who worship and those who praise our Rubb).''

[Muslim, Book # 07, Chapter 73, Hadith # 3113] 

Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah Al-Muminun Ayat 21."there are, in them, numerous (other) benefits" This is a very comprehensive prayer. Man is not safe from dangers during a journey and in his absence, safety of his household may worry him, too. In this prayer, Allah is entreated to ensure the safety of the two in most effective words. And none can harm that person who comes under the Watch and Protection of Allah. This prayer should be recited upon starting on a journey as well as returning from it.

الوعاء المرجعي بين التوسيع والتضيق 
 عبد الباري مشعل

يتميز كتاب المدخل الفقهي العام للشيخ مصطفى الزرقا رحمه الله، بضيق الوعاء المرجعي، بل وبعدم الرجوع لبعض المراجع الأصيلة في بعض الأحيان مثل توثيق ما تناوله عن مقاصد الشريعة من باحث معاصر وليس من الشاطبي. لقد كان الشيخ مصطفى منشغلا في صياغة جديدة للفقه الإسلامي، فركز على هذه القضية، فاهتم بذلك وحقق هدفه وبرزت شخصيته ولا تخفى القيمة العلمية للكتاب ومدى انتشاره. 

وعلى الجانب الآخر في بعض الرسائل الجامعية يتسم التوثيق بسعة الوعاء المرجعي للأفكار والنصوص المقتبسة، بحيث تجد عدد المراجع المثبة في الصفحة الواحدة يقارب عدد أسطر المتن. والذي أراه: أن هذا ليس مطلوباً في البحث العلمي ولا محمودا ًلأنه يكون على حساب أمرين: الأول: ضياع كثير من الوقت دون قيمة مضافة للبحث أو للباحث، والثاني: عدم بروز شخصية الباحث، وعدم تميز البحث بمنهج خاص به. 

ولا يلزم من ضيق الوعاء المرجعي أن الباحث لم يطلع على مراجع أخرى، كما أنه لا يلزم من زحمة التوثيق أن الباحث مسيطر على بحثه.
وعلى الباحث أن يختار في كل موضوع أو فكرة التوثيق من المصدر الأصيل مباشرة أو بالواسطة عند تعذر الوصول إلى المصدر الأصيل.
وعلى سبيل المثال من قرأ كتاب مقاصد الشريعة للشاطبي لا يعنيه ما كتبه المعاصرون في المقاصد إلا فيما أضافوه على الشاطبي إن كان ثمة إضافة. 

ومن قرأ كتاب النظرية العامة في الاقتصاد لجون ما ينارد كينز كفاه عن عشرات الكتب التي تتحدث عن النظرية الكينزية إلا فيما أضافوه من مناقشات للتطبيقات والسياسات التي تمت على أساسها.
وبالمثل فإن من قرأ كتاب المعاملات المالية الإسلامية لشيخ الأزهر الراحل سيد طنطاوي، ومحضر اجتماع مجمع البحوث الذي تضمن الحكم بأن الفوائد المصرفية حلال حلال حلال [حلال بالتلاتة على وزن طلاق بالثلاث) كفاه في معرفة رأي شيخ الأزهر ولا داعي للاكتراث بكل النقولات لهذا الرأي.
