We are kindly asking for your generous support in burying our deceased brother according to our sunnah.
We have contacted the funeral home and they are going to go to Naples. The burial will be in Palmetto and we will keep you posted.
Please note that the burial time has not been set due to the unusual circumstances.

Signs Memorandum of Understanding with CIBAFI
The General Council for Islamic Banks And Financial Institution (CIBAFI) and Data and Investment Consult Lebanon announced the signature of an exclusive representation and memorandum of understanding to promote Islamic Banking services, training and coaching from Lebanon.
Under the MOU Data and Investment Consult Lebanon will represent Data and Investment Consult Lebanon in providing specialized training for Islamic finance industry. President and CEO of Data and Investment Consult Ma'an Barazy said this Move will help faster our activities on Islamic finance namely:
1. Promoting the Islamic financial institutions, dissemination of concepts, rules and relevant provisions, development and promotion of Islamic financial industry, and enhancing its existence regionally and globally.
2. Consolidation of co-operation among members of the Council and similar institutions in areas which serve the common objectives by using available means.
3. Providing information related to Islamic banks and financial institutions and other relevant Islamic organizations.
4. Promoting the interests of members, protecting the industry and its course, confronting the common difficulties and challenges, promoting co-operation among members on the other hand, and between members and other parties, particularly regulatory authorities.
5. Participating in the development of the Islamic financial services by encouraging research and development, product registration, and tracking the development of laws and procedures of product registration.
6. Participating in the development of human resources to tackle international challenges and development opportunities to cooperate in the fields of research and academic institutions.
Unless the agreement and as a first Data and Investment Consult Lebanon will present the following CIBAFI Professional Certificates in Beirut:
· The Certified Islamic Banker
· The Certified Islamic Specialist in Capital markets
· The Certified Islamic Specialist in Trade Finance
· The Certified Islamic Specialist in Takaful
· The Certified Islamic Specialist in Accounting
· The Certified Islamic Specialist in Governance and Compliance
· The Certified Islamic Specialist in Risk Management
And the following Professional Diplomas:
· Professional Advanced Diploma in Shari'a Auditing
· Professional Diploma in Accounting in IFIs
· Professional Diploma in Risk Management in IFIs
· Professional Advanced Diploma in Islamic Finance
The memorandum confirmed the readiness of Data Investment Consult to advice the public institution and private sector companies wishing to revise work in Shariah compliance.
The memorandum also aspires cooperation to conduct scientific seminars and studies on business transactions compliant with Islamic law.

أعلنت شركة داتا اند انفستمنت كونسلت ليبانون عن إبرام اتفاق تعاون والمجلس العام للبنوك والمؤسسات الإسلامية (– مقره البحرين) لتقديم خدمات شرعية تدريبية واستشارية وذلك لتحفيز العمل المعرفي الإسلامي من بيروت.
ولعل أهم الشهادات التي يقدمها المجلس هي شهادة المصرفي الإسلامي المعتمد التي تهدف إلى الارتقاء بقدرات وإمكانيات موظفي الجهاز المالي والمصرفي الإسلامي، فهي متاحة لجميع العاملين في البنوك وشركات التمويل والاستثمار الإسلامية على مختلف مستوياتهم المهنية، وتسعى إلى منح حامليها الأسس والمرتكزات المصرفية والشرعية المعمقة والمتكاملة، كما تزودهم بالمعارف والمهارات المهنية والتطبيقات المصرفية السليمة وتمكنهم كذلك من الانطلاق الثابت والميسر نحو التخصصات الاحترافية المتنوعة.

المجلس العام للبنوك والمؤسسات المالية الإسلامية
إشارة إلى أن المجلس العام للبنوك والمؤسسات المالية الإسلامية هو مؤسسة دولية غير هادفة للربح. تأسس من قبل البنك الإسلامي لتنمية والعديد من المؤسسات المالية الإسلامية الأخرى، وقد صدر بشأن تأسيسه مرسوم أميري في مملكة البحرين بتاريخ 12 مايو 2001. ورغم أن المجلس أنشئ عام 2001 إلا أن السعي لتأسيسه بدأ في يوليو 1999 حيث تم اعتماد النظام الأساسي للمجلس العام في مقر البنك الإسلامي للتنمية بتاريخ 10 يوليو 1999. ويضم المجلس عددًا كبيرًا من البنوك والمؤسسات المالية والاستثمارية الإسلامية المسجلة في مختلف دول العالم والخاضعة لرقابة البنوك المركزية.
يقع المركز الرئيسي للمجلس العام في مملكة البحرين وقد تم اختيار مملكة البحرين لاستضافة المجلس العام من قبل المؤسسين لما لها من مكانة مرموقة في الوسط المالي وما تمثله من مركز رئيسي للمال في الدول العربية ومنطقة الشرق الأوسط.
ويرأس مجلس الإدارة الشيخ صالح عبد الله كامل رئيس مجموعة البركة المصرفية. ثم يأتي بعد ذلك الأمانة العامة للمجلس العام ويرأسها الأمين العام للمجلس. ويختار مجلس الإدارة من بين أعضائه أربعة يشكلون لجنة تنفيذية بصلاحيات محددة بهدف تفعيل أعمال الأمانة العامة وتقوم مقام المجلس في متابعة ووضع سياسات الأمانة العامة وترفع توصياتها وقراراتها للمصادقة عليها من قبل المجلس.
بدأ المجلس في العام الأول بعدد 39 عضواً شاركوا فى الاجتماع التأسيسي للمجلس الذى انعقد في نوفمبر 2001 ببيروت، وفي العام التالي وهو عام 2002م تمكنت الأمانة العامة من الارتفاع بالعضوية إلى 54 عضواً بزيادة 15 عضواً جديداً، وفى عام 2003 تقدمت 6 مؤسسات مالية جديدة للانضمام إلى المجلس بحيث إنه بعد اعتماد عضويتهم في الجمعية العمومية المنعقدة بكازاخستان في سبتمبر 2003 أصبح العدد الإجمالي للأعضاء 60 عضوًا.
وبلغ عدد أعضاء المجلس العام في سنة 2012 ما يعادل 114 عضو من بينهم 66 عضو أساسي و48 عضو مراقب.
