[PF:170433] The Beard : According to the Quran and Sunnah

In the name of Allah, the Most-Merciful, the All-Compassionate

"May the Peace and Blessings of Allah be Upon You"

Praise be to Allaah, we seek His help and His forgiveness. We seek refuge with Allaah from the evil of our own souls and from our bad deeds. Whomsoever Allaah guides will never be led astray, and whomsoever Allaah leaves astray, no one can guide. I bear witness that there is no god but Allaah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.

1. What is the definition of the beard according to shareeah?

Sheikh Muhammed Salih Al-Munajjid

orginally posted by Imran Ayub

Question: It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "Be different from the mushrikeen, trim the moustache and let the beard grow." (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 5892, Muslim, 601).   what is the definition of the beard according to sharee'ah, which we are forbidden to shave?

Answer: Praise be to Allaah.

Shaykh Ibn Baaz (may Allaah have mercy on him) said:  The beard (al-lahyah) is that which grows on the cheeks and chin, as was explained by the author of al-Qaamoos. It is obligatory to leave the hair that grows on the cheeks and chin, and not to shave it or cut it.  May Allaah reform the affairs of all the Muslims. Fataawa Islamiyyah, 2/325.

Shaykh Ibn 'Uthaymeen saidThe definition of the beard (al-lahyah) as stated by the scholars of the (Arabic) language is the hair of the face, jawbone and cheeks, in the sense that everything that grows on the cheeks, jawbone and chin is part of the beard. Removing any part of it also comes under the heading of sin, because the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "Leave the beard alone" and "Let the beard grow." This indicates that it is not permissible to remove any part of it [Including Cheeks], but the sin varies in degree; shaving is more serious than removing a part of it because it is a more extreme action and the one who shaves it more clearly goes against the command than the one who trims it. Fataawa Hammah, p. 36

2. Ruling on shaving the beard

Question: What is the ruling on shaving the beard or removing part of it?

Answer: Praise be to Allaah.

Shaving the beard is haraam because of the saheeh ahaadeeth that clearly state this, and because of the general application of texts that forbid resembling the kuffaar. One of these reports is the hadeeth of Ibn 'Umar who said that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "Be different from the mushrikeen: let your beards grow and trim your moustaches." According to another report: "Trim your moustaches and let your beards grow." There are other hadeeth which convey the same meaning, which is to leave the beard as it is and let it grow long, without shaving, plucking or cutting any part of it. Ibn Hazm reported that there was scholarly consensus that it is an obligation (fard) to trim the moustache and let the beard grow. He quoted a number of ahaadeeth as evidence, including the hadeeth of Ibn 'Umar (may Allaah be pleased with him) quoted above, and the hadeeth of Zayd ibn Arqam in which the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "Whoever does not remove any of his moustache is not one of us." (Classed as saheeh by al-Tirmidhi). Ibn Hazm said in al-Furoo': "This is the way of our colleagues [i.e., the Hanbalis]."

Is it haraam (to shave it)? Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: "The Qur'aan, Sunnah and ijmaa' (scholarly consensus) all indicate that we must differ from the kuffaar in all aspects and not imitate them, because imitating them on the outside will make us imitate them in their bad deeds and habits, and even in beliefs, which will result in befriending them in our hearts, just as loving them in our hearts will lead to imitating them on the outside. Al-Tirmidhi reported that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, "He is not one of us who imitates people other than us. Do not imitate the Jews and Christians." According to another version: "Whoever imitates a people is one of them." (Reported by Imaam Ahmad) 'Umar ibn al-Khattaab rejected the testimony of the person who plucked his beard. Imaam Ibn 'Abd al-Barr said in al-Tamheed: "It is forbidden to shave the beard, and no one does this except men who are effeminate" i.e., those who imitate women. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) had a thick beard (reported by Muslim from Jaabir). It is not permitted to remove any part of the beard because of the general meaning of the texts which forbid doing so. [Fataawa al-Lajnah al-Daa'imah, 5/133]

3. Is there any recommended length of the beard?

Sheikh Muhammed Salih Al-Munajjid

Question: is there any recommended length of the beard traceable from Prophet Muhammad SAAW

Answer: Praise be to Allaah.

There is no recommended or specified length of the beard, because nothing to that effect has been narrated from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). What has been reported is that the beard should be left as it is. Muslim (2344) reported that Jaabir ibn Samurah (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: "The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to have a very hairy beard." An-Nisaa' (5232) reported from al-Baraa' that he (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) had a thick beard; according to another report, he had a bushy beard; according to another report, he had a wide beard. Some scholars permit cutting the hair of the beard that exceeds the amount that may be grasped in the fist, because Ibn 'Umar did this; but most of the scholars regard this as makrooh, which is more apparent because of the reports referred to above. Al-Nawawi said: the best is to leave it as it is and not touch it or shorten it at all. (Tuhfat al-Ahwadhi, 8/39).

- As for the hadeeth, "He used to reduce the length and width (of his beard)" – this is a false and fabricated hadeeth. See al-'Ilal al-Mutanaahiyah by Ibn al-Jawzi, 2/686, Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): "Indeed in the Messenger of Allaah (Muhammad) you have a good example to follow for him who hopes for (the Meeting with) Allaah and the Last Day…" [al-Ahzaab 33:21] "And whatsoever the Messenger (Muhammad) gives you, take it; and whatsoever he forbids you, abstain (from it)." [al-Hashr 59:7]

And Allaah knows best

4. Obeying parents in shaving one's beard

Question: I am a young Muslim and I want to let my beard grow, but my father is strongly opposed to this. Should I let my beard grow or obey my parents?

Answer: Shaving the beard is haraam, and it is not permissible to do it for a parent or leader or boss, because obedience is only a duty in matters that are good and righteous. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "There is no obedience to any created being (person) if it involves disobedience to the Creator." Fataawa al-Lajnah al-Daa'imah, 5/146

5. Ruling on trimming the beard because it looks scary

Sheikh Muhammed Salih Al-Munajjid

Question: I have a question about the beard. I know that the beard should be left alone and not trimmed.  But there are some people who let their beards grow and they look scary. Our imam told us that this is not sunnah: to let the beard grow so long that the faces look scary. Some men only have gotee, hair on their on their upper lip and and chine and they are alims and imams. Can you please help me on this suject

Answer: Praise be to Allaah.

The Sunnah of the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) indicates that it is obligatory to let the beard grow and that it is haraam to shave it or cut it. It was narrated in al-Saheehayn that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "Cut the moustache and let the beard grow; be different from the mushrikeen." (al-Bukhaari, al-Libaas, 5442; Muslim, al-Tahaarah, 382)   There are many ahaadeeth which say the same as this hadeeth, indicating that it is obligatory to leave the beard alone and let it grow and that it is haraam to shave it or cut it. Whoever claims that letting the beard grow is no more than a Sunnah for which a person may be rewarded and the one who does not do it will not be punished is going against the saheeh ahaadeeth. The report that says that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to trim the length and breadth of his beard is a false hadeeth. But it should be noted that Islam is the religion of beauty, as it was narrated in the hadeeth, "[A man said,] 'What if a man likes his clothes and his shoes to look good?' The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, 'Allaah is Beautiful and loves beauty.'" (Narrated by Muslim, al-Eemaan, 131). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) commanded [one of his companions] to change grey hair, when he said, "Change this grey hair, but avoid black." (Narrated by Muslim, Kitaab al-Libaas wa'l-Zeenah, 2102). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) recommended combing hair, and said, "Whoever has hair, let him take care of it." (Abu Dawood, Kitaab al-Tarajjul, 3632. Al-Albaani said in Saheeh Sunan Abi Dawood: it is hasan saheeh. Hadeeth no. 3509). Al-Haafiz Ibn Hajar said: "Ibn Battaal said: combing means tidying the hair of the head and beard, and oiling it." This is the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), and he (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, "Whoever turns away from my Sunnah has nothing to do with me." (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, al-Nikaah, 4675)

It should be noted that the beauty referred to is shar'i or Islamic beauty (beauty as prescribed in Islam), and not the so-called beauty which appeals to sick minds which are enamoured of kaafir fashions and the appearance of corrupt people such as male and female actors and singers, or fashion models. Hence when some people were misled by those immoral western women who pluck or shave or draw their eyebrows, or make their nails long (like wild beasts), or have tattoos, and thought that this is beauty, many Muslim women imitated them in these things, even though they are forbidden by sharee'ah. The point is not what is fashionable in the east or the west, the point is the sharee'ah which advocates wearing perfume (for men), keeping clean, dressing nicely, combing the hair, changing grey hair, and other kinds of beautification which are prescribed in Islam. And Allaah is the Source of strength.

And Allaah knows best

6. Shaving one's beard for fear of persecution

Question: A while ago, Allaah guided me and I came back to Islam, praise be to Allaah. I let my beard grow, along with two other brothers, and this sunnah reached some of my family members too. At home we were able to create an Islamic atmosphere and all the sisters in the house put on Islamic dress. We adhered to the Qur'aan and Sunnah as much as possible. Then there was some trouble in our country, and the people turned against those who have beards and started to harass them. They think that everyone who has a beard wants to kill people and shed their blood, but we, as Muslims, have no desire whatsoever to kill people whom our Lord has forbidden us to kill. My father, my mother and my family have started urging me to shave my beard. My mother says that my father is angry with me, but I am afraid to do anything that goes against what the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, and I am afraid to commit a sin.

Answer: Praise be to Allaah.

Firstly, may Allaah reward you with good for following the guidance of the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and for calling your family to do likewise.

Secondly, shaving the beard is haraam, and letting it grow is obligatory, as you know. Obedience to the Creator takes precedence over obedience to any created being, even the closest of relatives. There can be no obedience to any created being if it involves disobedience to the Creator, and obedience to any other created being should only be with regard to what is good (ma'roof). What you describe of your father being angry and upset because you are letting your beard grow is only because he loves you and is afraid that what has happened to others may happen to you too. But what happened to others was, in most cases, because of provocation on their part, not just because they let their beards grow; it also happened to some of those who shave their beards. You must be steadfast in your adherence to the truth, and continue to let your beard grow in obedience to Allaah and in order to earn His pleasure, even if His creatures are angry.

You must also avoid the sources of trouble, and put your trust in Allaah, hoping that He will provide a way out for you. Allaah says (interpretation of the meanings): "… And whosoever fears Allaah and keeps his duty to Him, He will make a way for him to get out (from every difficulty). And He will provide him from (sources) he never could imagine. And whosoever puts his trust in Allaah, then He will suffice him. Verily, Allaah will accomplish His purpose. Indeed, Allaah has set a measure for all things" [al-Talaaq 65:2-3] and, "…and whosoever fears Allaah and keeps his duty to Him, He will make his matter easy for him. That is the Command of Allaah, which He has sent down to you, and whosoever fears Allaah and keeps his duty to Him, He will remit his sins from him and will enlarge his reward." [al-Talaaq 65:5]. We advise you to honour and respect your parents, and to explain to them with all good manners and politeness why you cannot do their bidding in this case. Fataawa al-Lajnah al-Daa'imah, 5/151

7. Should he shave his beard for the sake of work ?

Shaykh Muhammad Saalih al-Munajjid.

Question: I am a young man with a beard and I am trying to fear Allaah and do my duty to Him as much as I can. I graduated from the college of engineering a few years ago, then I started to look for work, but job opportunities in my country are very few, and even where they exist the financial income is very little.   Allaah helped me to find a job in a foreign petroleum company which does not require shaving the beard, and there are workers and technicians with beards there, praise be to Allaah. But the nature of my job will be in the petroleum fields themselves, and it is when known that during drilling there may be an emission of a poisonous gas called H2S, which requires wearing a gas mask which will not adhere firmly to the face because of the hair of the beard. I checked that out for myself by asking other foreign companies over the internet, and they replied that there is no gas mask that will work over a beard.  What is your opinion? I repeat that the company does not forbid beards at all, and this applies only in the petroleum fields in order to protect lives.

Answer: Praise be to Allaah.

Firstly:  The command to let the beard grow is narrated in many saheeh ahaadeeth which were narrated from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), which indicates that it is obligatory to let the beard grow and it is haraam to shave it.

Secondly:  It is part of the tolerant nature of Islam that it permits one to do something that is haraam and to omit obligatory duties if there is a valid excuse for doing so, as in cases of necessity and urgent need – such as eating dead meat when forced to do so, or a woman being treating a male doctor when necessary. The matter is subject to shar'i guidelines and should not go any further than is necessary.

Thirdly:  The Muslim must strive to meet his needs without committing haraam actions as much as possible. If he cannot do that except by committing a haraam action, it is permissible for him to do it in that case.

Based on the above, you should strive to do the following:

1 – Look for a gas mask that can be worn with a beard. Some companies have made gas masks for religiously-committed Jews with beards who work for airline companies.

2 – Look for another job which does not require you to commit any haraam actions, even if that job is in another country.

3 – Try to create your own work by doing business and the like.

If you cannot do any of these things, then there is no sin on you, in sha Allaah, if you shave your beard, so long as you shorten it only as much as is necessary; if you can manage to simply shorten it, then it not permissible for you to shave it off, and so on. Undoubtedly if a person fears Allaah and keeps his duty to Him as much as he can, Allaah will suffice him and grant him a way out, as Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):  "And whosoever fears Allaah and keeps his duty to Him, He will make a way for him to get out (from every difficulty). And He will provide him from (sources) he never could imagine" [al-Talaaq 65:2-3]

And Allaah knows best

8. Doubts about the obligation to let the beard grow and answers to them

Question: A number of Muslim scholars [like dr. Yusuf Qardawi] have issued fatwas stating that letting the beard grow is obligatory for every Muslim, and that the reason for that is so that they will not resemble the kuffaar, as is narrated from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) in more than one hadeeth.  But everyone can see on television that many of the Jews let their beards grow, so doesn't that contradict the reason for letting the beard grow, and may alter the ruling and make it Sunnah only?  Similarly, wasn't the command to be different from the kuffaar by letting the beard grow due to the Muslims mixing with them at the time of the Islamic conquests, so the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) wanted to make us distinct from them. This no longer applies because Islam has prevailed over the Arab lands, praise be to Allaah. Does this also make it only Sunnah?.

Answer: Praise be to Allaah.

With regard to the view that the reason for it being obligatory to let the beard grow was in order to be different from the mushrikeen, and that this reason no longer applies and so it is not obligatory to let the beard grow – the answer to this is as follows:

1-    The view that the reason no longer applies is the view of one who ignores reality, because it may be said: who are the majority among the mushrikeen – those who shave their beards or those who let them grow? Undoubtedly the majority are those who shave their beards .

2-    Moreover, being different from the mushrikeen is not the only reason, so we cannot say that the ruling no longer applies because the reason for it is no longer there, because there are other reasons, such as the fact that shaving the beard is an imitation of women, and changing the creation of Allaah, and that letting the beard grow is one of the sunnahs of the fitrah and is the way of the Messengers.

Even if we assume that "being different from the mushrikeen" no longer applies as a reason, the shar'i ruling remains in effect because of the other reasons. Shaykh Muhammad ibn Saalih al-'Uthaymeen (may Allaah have mercy on him) was asked about what some people say about the reason for letting the beard grow being to be different from the Magians and Christians as it says in the hadeeth, and that this is a reason that no longer applies nowadays, because they let their beards grow.
He replied:  We may answer this in several ways:

1-    Letting the beard grow is not only for the sake of being different, rather it is also part of the fitrah as is proven in Saheeh Muslim, as letting the beard grow is part of the fitrah with which Allaah has created mankind, so that they regard as beautiful that which is in accordance with it and regard as ugly that which goes against it.

2-    The Jews, Christians and Magians nowadays do not all let their beards grow, and not even a quarter of them do that, rather the majority of them shave their beards as is quite obvious.

3-    If a ruling is established in sharee'ah for a reason that no longer applies, and this ruling is in accordance with the fitrah or is one of the symbols of Islam, then it remains even if the reason no longer applies. Do you not see that raml (walking at a fast pace) in tawaaf was originally intended so that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and his companions could demonstrate physical strength in front of the mushrikeen who said: There have come to you people who have been weakened by the fever of Yathrib. This reason no longer applies, but the ruling remains in effect, because the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) did raml in the Farewell Pilgrimage.

To conclude: What is required of the believer, if Allaah and His Messenger have enjoined something, is to say: We hear and obey, as Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):  "The only saying of the faithful believers, when they are called to Allaah (His Words, the Qur'aan) and His Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), to judge between them, is that they say: 'We hear and we obey.' And such are the successful (who will live forever in Paradise )" [al-Noor 24:51] And they should not be like those who say: We hear and disobey, or who give false reasons and baseless excuses. This is the situation of one who does not submit truly to the command of Allaah and His Messenger. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): "It is not for a believer, man or woman, when Allaah and His Messenger have decreed a matter that they should have any option in their decision. And whoever disobeys Allaah and His Messenger, he has indeed strayed into a plain error" [al-Ahzaab 33:36]

"But no, by your Lord, they can have no Faith, until they make you (O Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) judge in all disputes between them, and find in themselves no resistance against your decisions, and accept (them) with full submission" [al-Nisa' 4:65]

I do not know how the one who says such things will be able to face his Lord on the Day of Resurrection. We must hear and obey and heed the command of Allaah and His Messenger in all cases.  Majmoo' Fataawa Ibn 'Uthaymeen (11/129-130).

And he also said (may Allaah have mercy on him): Letting the beard grow is the way of the Messengers. Allaah says of Haroon that he said to his brother Moosa (interpretation of the meaning):  "O son of my mother! Seize (me) not by my beard, nor by my head! Verily, I feared lest you should say: 'You have caused a division among the Children of Israel, and you have not respected my word!'" [Ta-Ha 20:94] The last and best of the Messengers, Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), let his beard grow, as did the caliphs who came after him, and his companions and the leaders and common folk of the Muslims in all but the most recent period, when many of them have gone against the way of their Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and their righteous predecessors (may Allaah be pleased with them). But this is the way of the Prophets and Messengers and their followers, and it is part of the fitrah with which Allaah created people, as is proven in Saheeh Muslim. Hence the correct view is that it is haraam to shave it, as was the view favoured by Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah (may Allaah have mercy on him), because of the command of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) to let it grow.

As for saying that the reason for letting it grow is to be different from the Jews and that this no longer applies, this is not acceptable, because the reason is not only to be different from the Jews.

Rather what is proven in al-Saheehayn is: "Be different from the mushrikeen" and in Saheeh Muslim it also says: "Be different from the Magians." Moreover, being different from these people is not the only reason, rather there is another, greater reason, namely following the guidance of the Messengers (peace and blessings be upon them) by keeping the beard. And the obligation to follow the fitrah. And not changing the creation of Allaah in ways that Allaah has not permitted. All of these are reasons why it is obligatory to keep the beard and let it grow, as well as being different from the enemies of Allaah, such as the mushrikeen, Magians and Jews.

Moreover, the claim that the reason for letting the beard grow no longer applies is not true, because most of the enemies of Allaah today among the Jews and others shave their beards, as is well known to anyone who has any knowledge of other nations and their actions. Even if we assume that most of them today let their beards grow, this does not alter the fact that it is prescribed in Islam to let the beard grow, because the fact that the enemies of Islam imitate something that is prescribed for the Muslims does not mean that it is no longer prescribed. Rather we should adhere more closely to it because they are imitating us and following us, and they are regarding it as something good and returning to the fitrah. Majmoo' Fataawa Ibn 'Uthaymeen (16/46-47).

And Allaah knows best

9. Ruling on dyeing the hair and beard black

Question: Is it permitted to dye the beard black?

Answer: It is not permitted for a man to dye his beard black because of the reports which command us to avoid that and forbid us to do it. Abu Dawood reported from Jaabir ibn 'Abd-Allaah who said: "Abu Quhaafah was brought on the day of the Conquest of Makkah, and his head and beard were like thughaamah (a plant whose leaves and flowers are intensely white) because they were so white. The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: 'Change this white hair, but avoid black.'" (Reported by Muslim, al-Nisaa'i and Ibn Maajah). Ahmad, Abu Dawood and al-Nisaa'i reported from Ibn 'Abbaas (may Allaah be pleased with him) who said: "The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: 'There will be a people at the end of time who will dye their hair black like the crops of pigeons; they will not even smell the fragrance of Paradise.'" But it is encouraged to change grey or white hair by dyeing it any other colour except black, because of the hadeeth of Jaabir quoted above.

It is permitted to dye the hair with henna or any other substance that will give it a reddish or yellowish colour, because it is reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to dye his hair with yellow. Muslim reported that Abu Bakr dyed his hair with henna and katam and that 'Umar used to dye his hair with henna. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) also said, "The best things with which you can change this grey hair are henna and katam." Reported by Imaam Ahmad, Abu Dawood, al-Nisaa'i, al-Tirmidhi, and classed as saheeh. Fataawa al-Lajnah al-Daa'imah, 5/166-167

10. Women removing the hair from their chin & legs

Shaykh Muqbil bin Haadee

Question: Is it permissible for a women to discard her hair that grow on her chin or on her legs?

Answer: As for the permissibility – then it is permissible; but if treatment can be found which can eliminate it in one go then so be it. As for the hair on the legs of the woman then they are not a deformity, and An-Nawawi said: "it is an obligation [to remove them] so that she should not resemble the men, so it is obligatory for her to do so if there is growth on her chin that she removes it, and as for the hair on her legs, then there is no harm in removing them, and it is not like the beard".  Ghaaratul Ashritah, volume 2, page 219

[PF:170419] JAPAN A GREAT NATION - WE NEVER KNEW

as recieved

JAPAN A GREAT NATION - WE NEVER KNEW

Japan, a Country keeping Islam and Christianity at bay.

1. Japan has put strict restrictions on Islam and Muslims.
The reasons are:

a) Japan is the only nation that does not give citizenship to Muslims.

b) In Japan permanent residence is not given to Muslims.

c) There is strong ban on the propagation of Islam in Japan.

d) In the University of Japan Arabic or any Islamic language is not taught.

e) One cannot import Kuran published in Arabic language.

f) According to data published by Japanese government,
it has given temporary residence
to only 2 lakhs Muslims, but they need to follow the
Japanese Law of the Land.
These Muslims should speak Japanese and carry their
religious ritual in their homes.

g) Japan is the only country in the world having negligible
number of embassies of Islamic countries.

h) Japanese people are not attracted to Islam at all.

i) Muslims residing in Japan are the employees of foreign companies.

j) Even today Visas are not granted to Muslim doctors,
engineers or managers sent by foreign company.

k) In majority of the companies, it is stated in their laws that
no Muslims should apply for the job.

l) Japan government is of an opinion that Muslims are fundamentalist
and even in the era of globalization, they are not willing to change
their Muslim laws.

m) Muslims can not even think about getting a rented house in Japan.

n) If anyone comes to know that his neighbor is a Muslim OR
Christian then the whole colony stays alert.

o) No one can start a Islamic or Arabic Madarsa in Japan

p) There is no personal law in Japan .

q) If Japanese women marry a Muslim OR A Christian then she is banned.

r) According to Mr. Komico Yagi (Head of Department, Tokyo University)
Japan believes that Islam is narrow minded religion and one should
stay away from it.

s) Freelance journalist Mohammd Juber toured many Islamic countries
after 9/11 incidence and at that time he went even to Japan .
He found out Japanese are confident that extremist can do no harm in Japan

2. Strict restrictions on the conversion to Christianity
a. In Japan there are strong restrictions on conversions to Christianity.
b. If due to any reason one converts his religion then both,
one who converts, and one who helps both are severely punished.

c. If a foreign citizen does this then he is given a strict notice to
leave Japan immediately.

d. Christen missionaries are influential all over the world but in
Japan they could do no magic.

e. The POPE of Vatican is unhappy on two things:
21st century is just begun but they could not convert
India into a Christian nation as Greece and there is no rise in
number of Christians in Japan.

f. Japanese do not convert to other religion for the sake of money.
They are very loyal to their religion and do not convert
even if they are tempted with large remuneration.
