Du'as from holy Qur'an for Parents& Offspring:

Du'as from the holy Qur'an:

Hadith: Abu Hurayrah (ra) reported that Allah's Messenger said: "A Muslim has five rights upon other Muslims: Responding to his Salam, Answering his invitation (to food), Making Tashmeet when he sneezes, Visiting him when he is sick, and Following his Janazah when he dies." (Bukhari and Muslim).

Hadith: Allah's Messenger said: "Whoever attends the Janazah until it is finished, will earn one Qirat, and who ever stays until the burial, will earn two Qirats. Someone asked: What a Qirat means? The Prophet answered:'It means rewards as big as a great mountain" (Bukhari & Muslim).

Hadith: On the authority of Suhaib, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is reported as having said: "How wonderful is the affair of the believer, for his affair is all good, and this applies to no one except the believer. If something good happens to him, he gives thanks and that is good for him, and if something bad happens to him, he bears it with patience, and he will be rewarded for that, so everything that Allah has decreed for the Muslim is good" (Muslim).

Hadith: According to an authentic hadith: "The greatest reward comes with the greatest trial. When Allah loves a people He tests them. Whoever accepts that wins His pleasure but whoever is discontent with that earns His wrath" (At-Tirmidhi).

Al-Hasan Al-Basri (may Allah bless his soul) said, "Do not hate the trials that befall you or the calamities that happen to you, for they may be something that you hate but it leads you to salvation, and there may be something that you love, but it brings to you your doom."

[karachi-Friends] Daily Qur'an & Hadith 02 Sep 2013 (25 Shawwal 1434)

English Translation of Al-Quran

[25].Surah Al-Furqan [The Criterion]

Ayat 17. And on the Day when Allah will gather them together and that which they worship besides Allah [idols, angels, pious men, saints, 'Iesa (Jesus) son of Maryam (Mary), etc.]. Allah will say: "Was it you who misled these My slaves or did they (themselves) stray from the (Right) Path?"

[Tafseer] 17. The day He will gather them together as well as those whom they worship besides Allah, He will ask: "Was it ye who let these My servants astray, or did they stray from the Path themselves?" The question is as in a Court of Justice, to convince those who stand arraigned.

English Translation of Hadith

Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) said, "The most truthful statement a poet has ever made is the saying of Labid: Everything besides Allah is vain.''

[Al-Bukhari Book 05, Chapter 58, Hadith # 181]

Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah Al-Furqan Ayat 17."Allah will gather them together and that which they worship besides Allah"

1. We learn from this Hadith that to compose, recite and quote good verses, as evidence, is permissible.

2. The Verse of Labid, quoted in this Hadith, is the same effect as the verdict of the Noble Qur'an: "Whatsoever is on (the earth) will perish." (55:26). This Verse accepts the eternity of the Afterlife and the transitory nature of this world.
