Chapter: Sending the women and children ahead to the camping places in al-Muzdalifah

Hadeeth: It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbâs, from Al-Fal, that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم commanded the weak ones among Banu Hâshim to move on from Jam' (Al-Muzdalifah) at night.

Chapter: What has been related about who kills himself with poison or something else.

Hadeeth: Abū Hurairah narrated (from the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم): "Whoever kills himself with (an instrument of) iron, he will come on the Day of Judgement with his iron in his hand, to continually stab himself in his stomach with it, in the Fire of Jahannam, dwelling in that state eternally. And whoever kills himself with poison, then his poison will be in his hand, to continually take it in the Fire of Jahannam, dwelling in that state eternally."

Chapter: What is to be said when entering the toilet.

Hadeeth: It was narrated that Anas bin Mâlik said: "Whenever the Messenger of Allâh صلى الله عليه وسلم entered the toilet, he would say: 'A'udhu Billâhi minal-khubuthi wa al-khabâ'ith (I seek refuge with Allâh from male and female devils).'"

Chapter: The repentance of Ka'b ibn Mâlik and his two companions.

Hadeeth: 'Abdur-Ramân bin 'Abdullâh bin Ka'b bin Mâlik narrated that his paternal uncle, 'Ubaidullâh bin Ka'b, who was Ka'b's guide when he lost his sight, and who was the most knowledgeable of his people about the Aâdith of the Companions of the Messenger of Allāh صلى الله عليه وسلم, said: "I heard my father Ka'b bin Mâlik , who was one of the three whose repentance was accepted, say that he did not stay behind from accompanying the Messenger of Allāh صلى الله عليه وسلم on any ghazwah that he went on, except for ghazwatayn (2 Jihaad expeditions) …" and he quoted the adîth and said: "The Messenger of Allāh صلى الله عليه وسلم set out on the ghazwah with many people, more than ten thousand, and there was no record of their names."

Chapter: Regarding the length of the hem for women.

Hadeeth: It was narrated from Abū Bakr bin Nāfi', from his father, from afiyyah bint Abī 'Ubaid that Umm Salamah, the wife of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم, said to the Messenger of Allāh صلى الله عليه وسلم when Izār (lower garments) were mentioned: "What about women, O Messenger of Allāh صلى الله عليه وسلم?" He said: "They should let it down a hand-span." Umm Salamah said: "Then it will show (her feet)." He said: "Then a forearms length, but no more than that."

Chapter: The Statement of Allāh تعالى: "Verily! Our Word unto a thing when We intend it …"

Hadeeth: Narrated Al-Mughīra bin Shu'ba: I heard the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم saying, "Some people from my followers will remain victorious (and on the right path) till Allāh's Order (the Hour) is established."

Sahih Al-Bukhâri, Volume 9, Book of Tauīd (Islāmic Monotheism) 97, Chapter 29, No. 7459

Chapter: This world is a prison for the believers and a paradise for the disbelievers.

Hadeeth: It was narrated that Abû Hurairah said: "By the One in Whose Hand is my soul" – Ibn 'Abbâd said: "By the One in Whose Hand is the soul of Abû Hurairah" – "the Messenger of Allāh صلى الله عليه وسلم, did not give his family their fill of wheat bread for three days in a row, until he departed from this world."
