میرے لکھے ہویے لفظ بھیگ گیے بارشوں کے بہانے

پھر وہ شمع بھی بجھ گیی ہواوں کے بہانے

 

غم یہ نہیں کہ وہی جدا ہوا مجھ سے

دکھ تو یہ کہ بہاریں روٹھ گییں خزاوں کے بہانے

 

مجھے تو لگتی ہے سازش ان پرندوں کی

مجھے دیکھتے ہی اڑ گیے فضاوں کے بہانے

 

بدلے ہویے دیکھے ہیں رات کو چاند کے بھی تیور

مجھے چھت پر دیکھ کر چھپ گیا بادلوں کے بہانے

 

اب تو اختیار نہیں ان انکھوں پر بھی وصی

بھیگ جاتی ہیں اکثر اسے بھلانے کے بہانے
