In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
The Islamic Society of Riverview Area (ISRA) is happy to share with
the community the updated details of our Khatmul Quran program
entitled Ramadan: A Spiritual Boot Camp and remind everyone in the
area to join us at our Musalla on the evening of Saturday August
20th. On this holy night that may potentially be Laylatul-Qadr, iA we
plan on completing the Quran (the 21st Taraweeh) and we have a
fabulous program lined up for the community:
8:07 PM Iftaar and Maghrib Salaat
9:00 PM Guest Lecture: "Ramadan, the Spiritual Boot Camp"
9:25 PM Q&A
9:45 PM Isha Salaat
10:00 PM Taraweeh (Khatmul Quran)
11:15 PM Salat-ul-Tasbeeh
It is with great pleasure that we announce that Dr. Saleh Mubarak will
be presenting a Guest Lecture entitled,"Ramadan, the Spiritual Boot
Camp." He will discuss the role of Ramadan in strengthening the self-
will which will help us be mentally and spiritually stronger, and in
better control of our emotions. iA this will lead to happiness in this
life as well as the Hereafter. His lecture will be followed by a
Question and Answer session.
In addition, we are proud to announce we will now also be hosting a
Salat-ul-Tasbeeh following the completion of the Quran. iA we hope
that everyone in the community joins us on this special night of
devotion for our program as we iA finish the Quran and takes part in
gaining the Sawabs of Laylatul-Qadr.
