{Islamic Mailing Group} Dear Sisters in Islam...

Apart from your own husband, son, granddad, grandson, uncle, nephew, father & brother,
Islaam teaches that any other male, to you is a stranger.

In front of any stranger, full Purdah must be observed,
Then your innocence, honour & modesty will be preserved.

Full Purdah entails you to be covered from head to toe,
So that no part of your body is publicly on show.

Remember that for Purdah, the control of the eyes is a must,
So you save yourself from temptations & lust.

If on your face you wear a simple veil,
You'll save yourself from being seen by any strange male.

Women in Islaam are more precious then diamond & gold,
That's why you mustn't expose yourself, only to be sold.

For a woman to do Purdah is a sign of piety,
And it is also a protection from the filthy society.

Some girls think it's cool to wear a trouser & shirt, or even a skirt,
Cos they probably think they'll have more chances to flirt.

But all that happens is that they get treated like dirt,
And therefore they just end up getting hurt.

Your body is not something for you to openly show,
Cos if you do, you only make yourself low.

When one covers their whole body with Hijaab, Niqaab & a long, loose cloak,
You won't be harassed by any ignorant folk, cos you won't be seen by any strange bloke.

By covering yourself, you will keep your modesty,
Or else you'll lose your innocence & honesty.

Covering oneself is a sign of humbleness & humility,
But exposing oneself leads to immorality.

By observing Purdah a woman keeps her shyness,
So she won't be big-headed and expect to be treated like a Royal Highness.

Women should always wear a Jilbaab, veil & head scarf,
Cos they are only meant for their other half.

If you go out, you should be fully covered from head to toe,
Cos when you leave the house, that's the best way to go.

Purdah is something women should never neglect,
Cos those who don't observe it, lose all self-respect.

Women who do Purdah and cover their body, head & face,
Will surely be favoured with Allaah's (S.W.T) mercy & grace.

Allaah (S.W.T) has commanded Women to cover themselves fully and to lower their gaze,
So those who do, will be rewarded by Allaah in many, many ways.

Those who properly wear the Jilbaab, Hijaab & Niqaab,
Will Inshaa-Allaah be saved from Allaah's (S.W.T) azaab.

Islaam forbids strange males & females to mingle,
Whether they are married, divorced or single.

You can only be seen by those who are your Mahram,
So for any stranger to see you, is considered as Haraam.

One may think its ok to talk to and hang out with ones brother-in-law or cousin,
But this will be more dangerous to your Imaan then poison.

By observing Purdah, one will remain pure,
And from catching STDs, it is the best cure.

The Shaytaan & Nafs you have to strongly fight,
By making sure you always protect your eyesight.

When a woman covers herself & hides her beauty,
Then in the eyes of Allaah (S.W.T), she's fulfilling her duty.

An essential part of Purdah is that one mustn't show their figure,
So it's a must to wear something that's loose or bigger.

Sadly now-a-days, some sisters do "Purdah" in a way that their body shape is obvious,
But, that kind of "Purdah" is nothing but devious.

The clothes worn for Purdah, shouldn't be see through or tight,
And the design & colour, shouldn't be attractive or bright.

When wearing Purdah, if people offend or tease,
Then don't care, because it's Allaah (S.W.T) you're trying to please.

One should only observe Purdah for Allaah's (S.W.T) pleasure,
And not turn the Niqaab & Hijaab into a fashion measure,

Purdah is Allaah's (S.W.T) command for women to implement,
And not something that should be done as a fashion statement.

Observing Purdah isn't something that should be neglected,
Because it's a means of your Imaan being protected.

Allaah (S.W.T) and his Prophet (S.A.W) have both said,
That it's Haraam to have a relationship before you get wed.

So Islaam prohibits going out between girlfriend & boyfriend,
Therefore please don't follow this evil kuffaric trend.

You shouldn't talk to a stranger, unless you have no choice.
But if you have to, don't do so in a sweet soft voice.

A ghayr-mahram man & woman should never be in khalwa anywhere,
Because Shaytaan will then become the 3rd person there.

In Islaam, women are valued & precious,
So they shouldn't lose their modesty, by being flirtatious.

Islaam teaches that women are to be honoured & respected,
But please lead your life in a way that these remain protected.

The women who don't do Purdah and follow their desire,
Then they run the risk of ending up in hell fire.

You should aim to be like the Ummahaatul Mu'mineen,
Then Inshaa-Allaah it'll become easier to practise on full Deen.

You should try to imitate any of the Sahaabiyyah,
Because they are the most pious group of women to step foot on the Dunyaa.

Always follow the Qur'aan & Sunnah, cos your life in the Dunyaa will be filled with Noor,
Then Inshaa-Allaah in Jannah, you'll be the Queen of all the Hoor.

Oh my dear Sisters in Islaam, to observe full Purdah and to follow the Qur'aan & Sunnah, to you is my advice,
And then Inshaa-Allaah, you will be eternally rewarded with entry into Paradise.
