Sorry, I totally disagree with you comments as I've personally seen birds cross over the Ka'aba Shareef & also seen hold the Ghilah-e-Ka'aba Shareef (the Cover), as they also have right to hold it & pray to Allah (SubhanaWa'aTallha)
All this is witnessed during my Hajj session in year 2007 (1429H),
May Allah (SubhanaWa'aTallha) bless us all & give us a chance to be there. Ameen
