President Zardari calls meeting tonight


KARACHI: President Asif Ali Zardari has called a significant meeting of Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Sindh's senior leaders tonight at Bilawal House, SAMAA reports Friday.

According to sources, the meeting is expected to discuss among other issues the statements by Sindh's former Home Minister Dr. Zulfiqar Mirza against other leaders of the party.

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah, his cabinet members, the federal ministers hailing from the province and senior leaders will partake in the meeting slated to thrash out several important issues including political situation in the province and new Local Government system.

Tonight's meeting is also intended to hammer out strategy vis-à-vis Zulfiqar Mirza's statements.

President Zardari is expected to hold discussion over the party's candidate for Badin constituency the province vacated by Zulfiqar Mirza after his resignation. SAMAA
