• Develops and maintain as technical custodian, discipline related ADMA-OPCO engineering standards & Specifications observing latest legislation and technology innovations.
• Ensure uniformity and standardization compatibility at optimum levels in design and engineering in all phases of the project and update company standards and specifications by incorporating the lessons learned.
• Conducts technical authority reviews and acceptance of vendors/ supplier deviations or non compliance request to the company specifications/ standards submitted by the project PMC.
• Reviews bidders lists, bid document for contract/ purchase for all electrical power & control systems and equipment. Review technical Bid evaluation report and approve selection of equipment and system.
• Conducts pre qualification exercises for manufacturers, consultant and service providers etc. Provides Electrical power control and distribution systems conformance assurance by support of inspection/ testing / upgrade and commissioning.
• Conducts presentations to company management/ shareholders for project execution justifications and status. Conducts discipline engineering interviews for plan company manpower recruitment, including projects support for PMC awards.
• Ensure effective implementations of company policies in design and selection of electrical equipment including the equipment located in hazardous environment.
• Involves electrical power system studies by using related electrical system software widely accepted in the industry. Review and approve electrical power system study report in phase of the project.
• Works in the line HSE policy, and ensure awareness and compliance of HSE and regulations by subordinates.
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor Degree in Relevant Engineering discipline or equivalent.
• 5-6 years in Offshore / Onshore Oil and Gas Production and processing facilities. Provides sound technical and business related input during the preparations, review or commenting on variety of engineering studies design documentation, specification etc.
• Comprehensive experience in both hazardous and non classified design concepts with sound knowledge of various HV & LV electrical systems using the latest technology.
• Demonstrate history using latest related international standards and codes especially for system integrity, reliability and HSE. Computer skills covering discipline specific (EDSA) / ETAP) and business software packages.
• Proficient in English
