MESCO is participating in "India Giving Challenge-2011" (IGC-2011), an annual fundraising event organized by Guide Star in collaboration with GiveIndia, during which all NGOs listed and/or registered with them are invited to put an appeal for funds on their Website which will reach a wider donor base. During this 45 day event which started on 6th September, 2011 and will last until 20th October, 2011, top 12 NGOs receiving maximum donations through GiveIndia will be entitled for a grant from GiveIndia.
In order to cater the needs of aspiring school and college students who desperately need your support in order to continue their studies; we appeal to you to contribute generously during this event to MESCO by visiting MESCO's iGive Page http://www.giveindia.org/give/pledgepage/MESCO2011
You may write your comments and click Donate; then follow the instructions (checkout) in order to complete the transaction. You may either donate online or through Cheque / Demand Draft, which you will have to forward to Give India mentioning your Transaction ID, which will be given to you by them once the transaction is complete.
You as our donor of long standing are requested to participate in this event so as to boost our collection. The unit contribution (minimum) we seek from one donor is Rs.550 (if given through cheque/DD) (and you could contribute in multiple units) so that MESCO could be one of the top 12 (we were at 24th position among 200 participating NGO's last year) and God willing even the topmost fund raiser; (last year first ranked NGO had raised Rs. 49,20,088/-) and be eligible to receive matching contribution which then could be Rs.11 lacs.
