={{ISTABA}}= [Tampa۩Ummah] Br. Mahmoud ElKasaby is now "hitched"

I am honored to have this opportunity to make the announcement that our dear "handsome" brother Mahmoud ElKasaby (from ISTABA) is now hitched.

 

Her name is Sr. Nesreen and she is from Chicago.

 

InshaAllah, their engagement will be in November 2012 in Chicago, followed by a wedding in June 2013 (which will also be in Chicago & Tampa).

 

May الله سبحانه و تعالى shower his blessings upon them both, and soon unite them together in goodness. (ameen)

Some Practial Reminders

Du'as from holy Qur'an for Parents & Offspring:

[Surah 25 Al-Furqan, Ayat 74] And those who say: "Our Lord! Bestow on us from our wives and our offspring the comfort of our eyes, and make us leaders for the Muttaqûn"

 

[Surah 26 Al-Shuara, Ayat 83-85] My Lord! Bestow Hukm on me, and join me with the righteous, And grant me an honourable mention in later generations. And make me one of the inheritors of the Paradise of Delight.

 

[Surah 2 Baqarah, Ayat 128-129] "Our Lord! And make us submissive unto You and of our offspring a nation submissive unto You, and show us our Manâsik, and accept our repentance. Truly, You are the One Who accepts repentance, the Most Merciful. "Our Lord! Send amongst them a Messenger of their own, who shall recite unto them Your Verses and instruct them in the Book and Al-Hikmah and purify them. Verily! You are the All-Mighty, the All-Wise."

 

[Surah 14 Ibrahim, Ayat 40-41] "O my Lord! Make me one who performs As-Salât, and from my offspring, our Lord! And accept my invocation. "Our Lord! Forgive me and my parents, and the believers on the Day when the reckoning will be established."

 

[Surah 17 Al-Isra, Ayat 23-25] And your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him. And that you be dutiful to your parents. If one of them or both of them attain old age in your life, say not to them a word of disrespect, nor shout at them but address them in terms of honour. And lower unto them the wing of submission and humility through mercy, and say: "My Lord! Bestow on them Your Mercy as they did bring me up when I was young." Your Lord knows best what is in your inner-selves. If you are righteous, then, verily, He is Ever Most Forgiving to those who turn unto Him again and again in obedience, and in repentance.
