...وَمَا تُقَدِّمُوا لِأَنفُسِكُم مِّنْ خَيْرٍ تَجِدُوهُ عِندَ اللَّهِ هُوَ خَيْرًا وَأَعْظَمَ...

 

… AND WHATEVER GOOD YOU SEND BEFORE FOR YOURSELVES, YOU WILL CERTAINLY FIND IT WITH ALLAH BETTER AND GREATER IN REWARD. … (AL-MUZZAMMIL, VERSE # 20)

 

 "Whoever takes care of the widow and the poor person is like the Mujaahid in the way of Allaah".  

 The narrator added, "And I think he said, 'Like the person who stands at night in prayer without relaxing, 

and the one who fasts and never breaks his fast.                                              (Al-Bukhaaree, 10/366)

Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu ..

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude for your usual support and comprehensive concern in the growth & welfare of our Institution, to render Islamic Education and Quran Memorization among our Islamic Children.

May Allah accept all our efforts and endeavors, as towards good deeds. Aameen …!!

IQRA  religious organization was started in 1986 and had been teaching the basic knowledge about Islam to our beloved children. Ever since, this institute has been offering free education for school going children during their weekends. In 1995, we have started the Holy Quran Memorizing section, which runs as a full-time education.. After successful completion of Holy Quran Memorization, students do continue their worldly education. To justify this fact, we do have hafiz students who have already graduated as Doctors, Engineers and Degree Holders in various fields. There are also students who are currently pursuing their degrees. Along with Quran memorization, we are providing training and facilities to the students to pursue their SSC exams privately.  

 OBJECTIVES OF THE JAMIA IQRA:

Jamia Iqra , Moula Nagar Gollapudi, Vijayawada,Andhra Pradesh in India

is aimed to create Islamic awareness among Muslim youth, the main objectives comprise of:

· Imparting fundamentals of Islam while they continuing their worldly education.

· providing opportunity to students to memorize the Holy Qur'an with Tajweedh, either part-time or by full time.      

ACTIVITIES OF THE JAMIA :

 In general, the Jamia Iqra activities can be divided into two main divisions:

Religious classes

·               Started in Hijri 1407 (1986)

·               Conducted during weekends and therefore runs in parallel with other schools.

·               Classes are sub-divided from Kindergarten to 7th level.

·               Students are of age limit 5 to 20.

·               Average strength of the Jamia at any time is 300.

·               Imparts elocution skills via a weekly elocution program.

 Holy Qur'an memorization classes

·                 Started in Hijri 1405 (1985)

               

·                 Classes are handled on full-time basis. However, opportunities are provided to eligible students who wish to do memorization on part-time basis.

·                 Average strength of the Jamia at any time is 20.

 

ACHIEVEMENTS OF THE JAMIA :

 · Religious class students regularly attain state ranks in Arabic language in government exams.

 

·Yearly once, the Jamia conducts thirty-days function which includes:

·                 Competitions [elocution, general knowledge, quiz] and various other competitions that test the remembrance of hadeeths, Asma-ul-Husna, etc.

·                 Convocation ceremony for those who have memorized Holy Qur'an.

  Financial Requirements:

·         Annual expenditure of the Jamia is approximately INR 450, 000

·         The Jamia does not have any permanent source of income other than the contributions given by philanthropist and other Muslim brethren

Request:

To cater to the running of this Jamia, we seek for monetary assistance from donors and liberal-minded & generous personalities. We seek your assistance in achieving our objective by extending your arms of assistance.

We would ever seek for your Dua (prayer) on the success running of this Institution and our Islamic Society to benefit from its activities.

 

In addition, we would like to remind you AGAIN that our Institution runs only with the donations contributed by generous personalities among our Muslim Brothers, in order to provide free Islamic Education & Hifzul Quran to our children.

May Allah bless us all with peaceful and healthy life in this world and thereafter, Aameen …!!

 

Truly  those who believe, and do deeds of righteousness, and perform As-Salat, and give Zakat, they will have their reward with their Lord. On them there will be no fear, nor shall they grieve." (Al-Baqarah: 277)

 

    According to one of the Prophet's hadiths, Zakat is the third pillar of Islam. It was narrated on the authority of Ibn Omar, (May Allah be pleased with them) that the Prophet (PBUH) said, "Islam is built on five: To testify that there is no God worthy of worship but Allah, and that Muhammad is His Messenger, to perform As-Salat (the prayer), and to give Zakat …..etc.
