[PF:165828] One day training program on 'Cost of Quality' organized by SMEDA

The "Cost of Quality" is not the price of creating a quality product or service. It's the cost of NOT creating a quality product or service. Every time product or service is redone, retest, rebuild or correct the cost of quality increases. In the 21st century, the cost of quality of an organization means to measure the cost of complete realization to satisfy customer throughout the business processes. Quality experts estimate that non-quality entails costs that can reach up to 20% of manufacturing sales and 30% of operating cost for service companies. Organizations that measure the cost of non-conformance and inefficient activities and that improve in eliminating their causes have achieved cost reductions amounting to 10% or more of revenues.

 

Understanding the importance of subject Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA) is pleased to announce a workshop on "Cost of Quality". The aim of this workshop is to build the capacity of the Small and Medium Size Enterprises (SMEs) in manufacturing as well as services sector and to make them aware with the latest concepts.

 

For registrations send us your nominations by Friday 08th July 2011 along with duly filled registration form. Payments will be made in advance either in "cash" or "pay order" in favor of "SMEDA" by Friday 08th July 2011. Seats are limited to 20 participants only. Nominations will be accepted on 'first come, first served basis.
