The Institute of Banking, Saudi Arabia and Islamic Finance Training, Malaysia, are pleased to announce a new course in Islamic Asset Backed Securitization. This 3-day course will provide an excellent grounding in the workings and structures of Islamic Asset Backed Securitization (ABS). The program will provide delegates with a detailed understanding of the topic: from a description of the essential basic concepts of Islamic finance and investment, right through to designing Islamic ABS structures and financing solutions for clients. The course will also cover important technical areas, such as incorporating Islamic credit enhancement methods, and understanding the legal, documentary, accounting and tax issues of Islamic securitization. The course director, Muhammad Zahid Abdul Aziz, has been a pioneer in the field of Islamic securitization and has worked on some of the earliest Sukuk transactions in Malaysia. Through his real-life knowledge and hands-on experience, delegates will have the chance to appreciate and grasp this exciting area of Islamic finance.
