[karachi-Friends] Daily Qur'an & Hadith 10 May 2013 (30 Jamadi us'Sani 1434).

English Translation of Al-Quran

[22].Surah Al-Hajj [The Pilgrimage]

Ayat 68. And if they argue with you (as regards the slaughtering of the sacrifices), say; "Allah knows best of what you do.

Ayat 69. "Allah will judge between you on the Day of Resurrection about that wherein you used to differ."

Ayat 70. Know you not that Allah knows all that is in heaven and on earth? Verily, it is (all) in the Book (Al-Lauh Al-Mahfûz). Verily! That is easy for Allah.

[Tafseer] If they do wrangle with thee, say, "(Allah) knows best what it is ye are doing."You are only wrangling about matters about which you have no knowledge nor any deep religious feeling. The springs of your conduct are all open before Allah, and He will judge you.' "(Allah) will judge between you on the Day of Judgment concerning the matters in which ye differ."You not only find fault with the very few and simple rites and ceremonies in Islam: you, outside Islam, have no rites and ceremonies which you are yourselves agreed upon, either as Christians or as Jews, or one compared with the other.'Knows thou not that Allah knows all that is in heaven and on earth? Indeed it is all in a Record, and that is easy for Allah. We human beings can only think of knowledge being accurately and permanently preserved by means of a record. Allah's knowledge has all the qualities of a perfect record, and it is moreover complete and comprehensive. This is not difficult for Him from whom flows all knowledge and intelligence (Surah 27 Ayat 74-75). .

English Translation of Hadith

Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) said, "When Allah created the creatures, He wrote in the Book, which is with Him over His Throne: `Verily, My Mercy prevailed over My Wrath".

Another narration is: Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) said, "(Allah wrote) `My Mercy dominated My Wrath".

Still another narration is: Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) said, "(Allah wrote) `My Mercy surpasses My Wrath".

[Muslim,Chapter 037, Hadith # 6626, 6627 & 6628]

Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah Al-Hajj Ayat 70."Verily, it is (all) in the Book (Al-Lauh Al-Mahfûz)." Imam Al-Khattabi states that here the word "Kitab'' (translated here as `Book') means the decision of Almighty Allah which He has already made, an instance of which is the following Verse of the Noble Qur'an: "Allah has decreed: `Verily, it is I and My Messengers who shall be the victorious". (58:21). In this Ayah the Arabic word "Kataba'' is used in the sense of "Qada' (decided);'' or the word "Kataba'' signifies "Lauh Mahfooz'' on which He has recorded everything. Almighty Allah is on the 'Arsh' (the Throne of Allah) and this Book is with Him.
