What this chum Faiz or Tahira khanam is saying about ulema wa fuqaha is a mere burst of bigmouthing and hence rejected in totality. However, I go by Quran where Allah says," INNAMA YAKHSHALLAHA MIN I'BADIHIL U'LEMAAU."
Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala confirms that only u'lema in his creation are the ones who fear Him.
There are 2 kinds of ulema, Sunni and they are mentioned in this aayah. The second kind is deviated or u'lema-e-soo. U'lema-e-soo are not mentioned in this aayah.
All u'lema from among wahabi, najadi, salafi, ghyr muqallid, ikhwani, maudoodi, ahlehadas, nadavi, tanzeemi, deobandi, tableeghi, khar syedi, naturi, ICNA, ISNA, parwaizi, ghaqmdi etc. are u'lema-e-soo, one shouldn't trust them because they didn't or don't have TAQWA OR FEAR OF ALLAH. to ulema-e-soo, then it is ok, but he doesn't know the 2 kinds.
All these u'lema-e-soo, together with agaha khanis, parwaizis and the modern mashrooms of the day are always found denouncing the real u'lema with fear of Allah. If they don't denounce them, nobody would give ear to what these 'soo' people say without the fear of Allah-----DON'T MIND THEM.

I wish there were more scholars like Ghamidi, so people could see the real beauty of Islam. Ghamidi is a very bright and enlightened scholar. And he knows inside out of the mullahism. He makes most of his arguments from the Qur'an but he has also studied Hadith in full detail for many years. He is a fearless, inveterate debater, and an aggressive orator. Unfortunately, his lectures can only be enjoyed by those understand 'elegant Urdu', not just Urdu. I have not seen him deliver his lectures in English—and that is unfortunate, too. I think West needs to learn Islam from scholars like Ghamidi so Islam can be viewed in a positive light by the West. Mullahs have ruined the image of Islam beyond repairs. One problem with Ghamidi, though, is, that he, admittedly, does not reject Hadith at all. However, if he doesn't like Hadith, he would attempt to prove it weak, or fabricated, or just would just say "the sheikhs of Hadith were excellent scholars but they were human, too. So they made some mistakes….Well, how can all 5 major fuqaha imams make the same mistake over and over again? Ghamdi is often right but he is right for the wrong reason---the fuqaha made 'some mistakes'. It is another matter that, when he talks, I get the impression that the fuqaha made LOTS of mistakes. I see a tiny bit of hypocrisy there. I say call a spade a spade. If you want to go against the 'fuqaha' fatwas, say the bitter truth that they ignored the Qur'an—don't say they were only human and so they made "some mistakes"! There are two type or narrations reached to us. 1- There will be 70 Kazzab in my Ummat. 2- There will be 30 Kazzab in my Ummat all will claim they are Prophet while ... So, GA Parveiz and Ghamidi are in those 70 until they can be categorized further. GA Parveiz never claimed but Ghamidi still have chance. All those who know Arabic knows that the word 70 has two meanings. One is exact 70 and other means "lot of" like 200, 500 like this. In Sharah (commentary) books you can see that 70 is interpreted by some scholars as "lot of" while 30 is interpreted same as is. In a narration it is said that there will be 27 Kazzab ... So apparently it seems contradiction, while if you can say that the three Kazzab who appeared at last age of Rasoolullah s.a.w. and were killed just after his s.a.w. death were not counted in this second narration by Rasoolullah s.a.w. so said 27, while talking as a whole he s.a.w. said 30. Meaning of Kahaatam (the one who is seal), and it need to know it's root word Khatam (Seal). When a seal is placed it don't allow a thing to go inside and not allow to come outside. خَتَمَ اللَّـهُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ وَعَلَىٰ سَمْعِهِمْ وَعَلَىٰ أَبْصَارِهِمْ غِشَاوَةٌ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ
Allah has set a seal upon their hearts and upon their hearing, and over their vision is a veil. And for them is a great punishment. [Baqarah 7] أَفَرَأَيْتَ مَنِ اتَّخَذَ إِلَـٰهَهُ هَوَاهُ وَأَضَلَّهُ اللَّـهُ عَلَىٰ عِلْمٍ وَخَتَمَ عَلَىٰ سَمْعِهِ وَقَلْبِهِ وَجَعَلَ عَلَىٰ بَصَرِهِ غِشَاوَةً فَمَن يَهْدِيهِ مِن بَعْدِ اللَّـهِ أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ
Have you seen he who has taken as his god his [own] desire, and Allah has sent him astray due to knowledge and has set a seal upon his hearing and his heart and put over his vision a veil? So who will guide him after Allah? Then will you not be reminded?[Jathiya 23]
So, when a thing is sealed nothing can go inside. الْيَوْمَ نَخْتِمُ عَلَىٰ أَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَتُكَلِّمُنَا أَيْدِيهِمْ وَتَشْهَدُ أَرْجُلُهُم بِمَا كَانُوا يَكْسِبُونَ
That Day, We will seal over their mouths, and their hands will speak to Us, and their feet will testify about what they used to earn. [Yaseen 65]
So, when a thing is sealed nothing can come outside. Rasoolullah s.a.w. is Khaatam, i.e. seal. Now nothing can be added in the list of Nabi , means if there were 100 Nabi now they can't be 101, if they were 124,000 they can't be 124,001. The aayat is here;
مَّا كَانَ مُحَمَّدٌ أَبَا أَحَدٍ مِّن رِّجَالِكُمْ وَلَـٰكِن رَّسُولَ اللَّـهِ وَخَاتَمَ النَّبِيِّينَ
Muhammad is not the father of [any] one of your men, but [he is] the Messenger of Allah and last of the prophets.
There are other aayaat which proves this concept but we are focusing on the word Khaatam-ul-Nabiyyein and "No Nabi" after Rasoolullah s.a.w. so I am not presenting those aayaat, one of them can be seen in my previous reply in this thread. Now see, Rasoolullah s.a.w. educated about same thing in many different ways. Here I have showed nearly 20 Sahabah r.a. narrating this concept. You can find more if see in books of Hadith Inshallah.
عن ثوبان قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم لا تقوم الساعة حتى تلحق قبائل من أمتي بالمشركين وحتى يعبدوا الأوثان وإنه سيكون في أمتي ثلاثون كذابون كلهم يزعم أنه نبي وأنا خاتم النبيين لا نبي بعدي۔
Thobaan r.a. said That Rasoolullah s.a.w. said that Qiamah will not come until some tribes of my Ummah will join Mushrikeen and will worship idols even, and there will be thirty Kazzab (liers) in my Ummah all will claim they are Nabi while I am Khatam-ul-Nabiyyein no Nabi after me. أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال مثلي ومثل الأنبياء من قبلي كمثل رجل بنى بنيانا فأحسنه وأجمله إلّا موضع لبنة من زاوية من زواياه فجعل الناس يطوفون به ويعجبون له ويقولون هلا وضعت هذه اللبنة؟ قال فأنا اللبنة وأنا خاتم النبيين۔
AbuSaeed AlKhudri r.a. narrated that Rasoolullah s.a.w. said that example of me and Ambia befor eme is like a man made a beautiful house and decorated it except place of one brick in a corner. People come and see the house and see it wonderful and say why this brick is not placed? So, I am the brick , I am Kahaatamul Nabiyyein. (Muslim)
سمعت أبا حازم قال قاعدت أبا هريرة خمس سنين فسمعته يحدث عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال كانت بنو إسرائيل تسوسهم الأنبياء كلما هلك نبي خلفه نبي وإنه لا نبي بعدي وسيكون خلفاء فيكثرون قالوا فما تأمرنا قال فوا ببيعة الأول فالأول أعطوهم حقهم فإن الله سائلهم عما استرعاهم
AbuHaazim said I lived with AbuHurairah r.a. for five years and I listened him saying reported from Rasoolullah s.a.w. that in Bani Israil new Nabi was appointed when a Nabi dies, and listen there is no Nabi after me. (Bukhari)
عن زيد بن أرقم أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال لعلي أَنت مني بمنزلة هارون من موسى إلا أنه ليس نبي بعدي۔
Zaid bin Arqam said that Rasoolullah s.a.w. said to Ali r.a. that you are with me like Haroon was with Musa except there is no Nabi after me. (Ibn-Abi-Shebah, Tabarni Kabeer, Tareekh Dimashq)
[Context was that Rasoolullah s.a.w. once went out for a war and left Ali r.a. in Madinah to take care of people in Madinah. The Munafiqeen said that Rasoolullah s.a.w left Ali r.a. because he is werak. When Ali r.a. complained about it the Rasoolullah s.a.w. said this.]
أسماء بنت عميس تقول سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول يا علي ألا ترضى أن تكون مني بمنزلة هارون من موسى غير أنه لا نبي بعدي۔
Asma bint Umais said that I listened Rasoolullah s.a.w. said O Ali are you not happy because of your status with me as status of Haroon with Musa except no Nabi after me? (Ibn-e-Abi-Sheba, Ishaq-bin-Rahweh, Ahmad)
Ibn-e-Abbas r.a. is third narrator of this narration. Abdullah bin AbiAufa r.a. is fourth narrator of it. Hind bint Hudhaifah r.a. is fifth narrator. Ali r.a. himself narrated it, see Musnad Bazzaar, Sunan Kubra Nasae and AbuYala Musili and Musnad Zaid. Jabir bin Samurah is seventh narrator. Khalid bin Zaid is eighth narrator. Habashi bin Junadah is ninth narrator. Maalik bin Huwairith is tenth narrator.
سمعت عبد الله بن عمرو بن العاص يقول خرج علينا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يوما كالمودع فقال أنا محمد النبي الأمي ثلاثا ولا نبي بعدي أوتيت فواتح الكلم وجوامعه ۔۔۔
Amar ibn Aas said once Rasoolullah s.a.w. came to us as a departer (who advise important things while departing) and said I am Muhammad Nabi unlettered (repeated) three time, and No Nabi after me ... (Ahmad , Tahavi)
محمد بن جبير بن مطعم عن أبيه أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال أنا محمد وأنا أحمد وأنا الماحي الذي يمحى بي الكفر وأنا الحاشر الذي يحشر الناس على عقبي وأنا العاقب والعاقب الذي ليس بعده نبي۔
Jubair ibn Mut'im said that Rasoolullah s.a.w. said that I am Muhammad and Ahmad and Maahi whith whom Kufr is erased I am Haashir after whom people will be gathered and I am Aaqib who has no Nabi after him. (Muslim, Bukhari, Tirmadhi, Ahmad)
عن أبي قتيلة رضي الله عنه أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قام في الناس في حجة الوداع فقال لا نبي بعدي ولا أمة بعدكم۔
Murthid bin Wada'a r.a. said that Rasoolullah s.a.w. was standing among people in Hajjat-ul-Wida and said No Nabi after me and No nation after you ... (Abu-Aasim, Tibrani kabeer, Maarifatul Sahabah AbuNuaim)
Ibn-e-Umar r.a. is second narrator of this saying at the time of Hajjatul-Wida.
Abu Umamah r.a. is third narrator.

Sura al-Ahzāb 33 (the Confederates) Surah Al -Ahzab 33 33:36. وَمَا كَانَ لِمُؤْمِنٍ وَلَا مُؤْمِنَةٍ إِذَا قَضَى اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَمْرًا أَن يَكُونَ لَهُمُ الْخِيَرَةُ مِنْ أَمْرِهِمْ وَمَن يَعْصِ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ ضَلَالًا مُّبِينًاO 33:36. And neither a believing man nor a believing woman has (this) right that, when Allah and His Messenger (blessings and peace be upon him) have given judgment (or a command) about an affair, they should exercise their own choice in (doing or not doing that) work of theirs. And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger (blessings and peace be upon him) certainly loses his way into open error. 33:37. وَإِذْ تَقُولُ لِلَّذِي أَنْعَمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَأَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِ أَمْسِكْ عَلَيْكَ زَوْجَكَ وَاتَّقِ اللَّهَ وَتُخْفِي فِي نَفْسِكَ مَا اللَّهُ مُبْدِيهِ وَتَخْشَى النَّاسَ وَاللَّهُ أَحَقُّ أَن تَخْشَاهُ فَلَمَّا قَضَى زَيْدٌ مِّنْهَا وَطَرًا زَوَّجْنَاكَهَا لِكَيْ لَا يَكُونَ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ حَرَجٌ فِي أَزْوَاجِ أَدْعِيَائِهِمْ إِذَا قَضَوْا مِنْهُنَّ وَطَرًا وَكَانَ أَمْرُ اللَّهِ مَفْعُولًاO 33:37. And, (O Beloved, recall) when you said to him whom Allah had favoured and whom you (too) had done a favour: 'Keep your wife (Zaynab) with you in the bond of marriage and fear Allah.' And you were keeping that secret* in your heart which Allah was about to reveal. And you had (out of decency) the fear of the (scoffs of) people (in your heart. O Beloved! You need not have cared for people). And Allah alone has a greater right that you should fear Him (and who is more Godfearing than you!) So when (your adopted son) Zayd fulfilled his desire to divorce her, We married her to you so that there is no blame on the believers for (marrying) the wives of their adopted sons, whilst they have no desire for them (after divorce). And carrying out Allah's command was a must. * That Zaynab would not be able to reconcile with you, and according to Allah's will she would be admitted to 'the pure wives' after her divorce. 33:38. مَّا كَانَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ مِنْ حَرَجٍ فِيمَا فَرَضَ اللَّهُ لَهُ سُنَّةَ اللَّهِ فِي الَّذِينَ خَلَوْا مِن قَبْلُ وَكَانَ أَمْرُ اللَّهِ قَدَرًا مَّقْدُورًاO 33:38. And there is no blame on the Prophet in (accomplishing) that duty which Allah has made obligatory for him. And certainly the same has been the way and practice of Allah with those (as well) who have passed away before. And the command of Allah is a decree which has been fulfilled. 33:39. الَّذِينَ يُبَلِّغُونَ رِسَالَاتِ اللَّهِ وَيَخْشَوْنَهُ وَلَا يَخْشَوْنَ أَحَدًا إِلَّا اللَّهَ وَكَفَى بِاللَّهِ حَسِيبًاO 33:39. Those (bygone) people used to communicate the messages of Allah, and fear Him, and they were afraid of none but Allah. And Allah is Sufficient as a Reckoner. 33:40. مَّا كَانَ مُحَمَّدٌ أَبَا أَحَدٍ مِّن رِّجَالِكُمْ وَلَكِن رَّسُولَ اللَّهِ وَخَاتَمَ النَّبِيِّينَ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمًاO 33:40. Muhammad (blessings and peace be upon him) is not the father of any of your men, but he is the Messenger of Allah and the seal of the Prophets (the great and superier of the Prophets). And Allah is the Perfect Knower of everything. 33:41. يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اذْكُرُوا اللَّهَ ذِكْرًا كَثِيرًاO 33:41. O believers! Keep remembering Allah abundantly. 33:42. وَسَبِّحُوهُ بُكْرَةً وَأَصِيلًاO 33:42. And glorify Him morning and evening. 33:43. هُوَ الَّذِي يُصَلِّي عَلَيْكُمْ وَمَلَائِكَتُهُ لِيُخْرِجَكُم مِّنَ الظُّلُمَاتِ إِلَى النُّورِ وَكَانَ بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ رَحِيمًاO 33:43. He is the One Who sends peace and blessings on you and His angels as well, so that He may take you out of the layers of darkness into the light. And He is Ever-Merciful to the believers. 33:44. تَحِيَّتُهُمْ يَوْمَ يَلْقَوْنَهُ سَلَامٌ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُمْ أَجْرًا كَرِيْمًاO |
