[karachi-Friends] Prudent Guidance from Prophet Muhammad SAW.

Unlike any other religion Islam covers whole life .  The world is a small part
of the overall picture. Therefore human relations and dealings with fellow
humans is an essential part of Islam. The blessed prophet has advised us of
ALL aspects of life. Just read the following hadith:

The blessed prophet (SAW) said:

O Muslims, if any one of you wears patched and very old clothes, it is better
than he borrows and is unable to repay his debt.

                                        ( Nisai, Hakim, Ibne Habban)

I recalled this when I saw the world map of indebtedness of nations:

USA is by far the most indebted nation in the world, followed by UK, Japan, Germany etc.
Only Muslims belt comprises of low borrowing nations.

Among the developing nations:

India has a debt of US $ 793 per person whereas public debt as % of GDP is 49%.
Pakistan, which has been involved in wars imposed by Soviet Union and USA, has
public debt per person of US $ 570. Now look at the relative prosperity of Pakistan
and the huge and starving population of India.

These figures are 3 years old.  The present indebtedness if far too high.
