So they did that to him. Then He said to the earth: Produce what you have taken-and there he was! And He said to him: What induced you to do what you did? | Coming this Friday 9/21/2012 Shaykh Mushtaq Ahmad is visiting Tampa on Friday, Sept. 21st - Monday, Sept. 24. He will be giving Friday's khutbat ul-jumu'ah at The Islamic Society of Tampa Bay Area (ISTABA) about importance of Hajj. Friday after maghrib, he will give a lecture at the New Tampa Mosque on the topic of 'Family life'. Saturday after maghrib, he will be giving a lecture at ISTABA on 'Lust and the Spiritual Diseases of the Youth'. CLICK HERE Imam Ali Shams Eldin is visiting from Long Beach, California and will lead Salatul-Jum'ah this Friday, September 21. Imam Ali is originally from Egypt and is a Qari' of the Noble Quran at one of the Islamic TV channels. Friday after maghrib, he will also be leading an hour of Qur'an recitation at ISTABA. Al-Albani Quran Classes IMAM SAID AL-ALBANI Imam Said Al-Albani teaches Arabic with tajweed and proper pronunciation to prepare the students for correct recitation of the Holy Quran.  ISTABA Daycare, Now Enrolling Director: Sr. Mariam Razak Alhamdulillah, we are currently accepting students ages 1 - 5 years old. We are approved for Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) and School Readiness vouchers. Our after-school program from 3:00 - 6:00 pm also accepts students ages 5 - 12. We are open from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm Monday -Friday.

Wednesday Weekly Halaqah Join us every Wednesday at Masjid Al-Jami' after Maghrib Salat (8pm) for a halaqa discussing various topics. We encourage you to come out and remember Allah through Maghrib and Isha salat and engage in Islamic discussion and strengthening of bonds.This Halaqah includes both brothers and sisters and are done separately.We are always open for suggestions and ideas. Baby Girl, Yaalinet Alhamdulillah, Allah has blessed our dear Brother Nasheed with a beautiful girl, named Yaalinet. We ask Allah - swt - to bless and protect her, Allahumma Ameen. The Prophet used to seek Allah's protection for Al-Hasan and Al-Husain by saying: "اعذيكما بكلمات الله التامه من كل شيطان وهامه ومن كل عين لامه" 'U'eethukumaa bikalimaatil-laahit-taammati min kulli shaytaanin wa haammatin, wa min kulli 'aynin laammatin.
