[karachi-Friends] The Ugly face of capitalism behind the facade of Prosperity & Growth

  Dear  All,

It is not a pity that a few thousand individuals have managed to acquire all the wealth in the world. The real tragedy is that the entire media is their property and common man even does not know what has happened to him:

Initially capitalism was not so greedy and stubborn. It was prepared to accept restrictions on profit maximization, such as  free competition and anti-cartel laws.It claimed to provide jobs to a large number of workers, much larger than the state could employ. Only capital poor states such as China and India could afford to employ more people than the moneyed class. Then their greed grew and their profit maximization included reduction of employment. Rightsizing and downsizing became vogue and  the  capitalists stopped quoting provision of jobs as a benefit of capitalistic system. They  laid emphasis on computerizing and automating  the accounting and operations. Less workers, less salaries and less social security benefits. So capitalism became  a faceless giant and the  governments derived by need to earn more illegal  gratification started allowing them sacking as much people as they wanted.  The politicians continued  reducing  tax burden on the capitalists and they used the opportunity to  earn more money without starting to produce something  real. False increase in stock value of companies and dealing  in metals, currencies and property provided them opportunity to  double even quadruple  their assets without employing even  100 employees.  Copyright laws made billionaires
like Bill Gates . One  worthless  software with so many bugs and  no efficient Operating system with lesser overheads could be developed by  Microsoft. They were screwing the filthy rich by requiring them to purchase a new version of the same basic software. But the government conveniently ignored the harsh reality that  they were charging the same price to  young student whose  parent is  barely able to pay his semester fee. Now Bill Gates has become a philanthropist at the cost of the poor student. He was allowed to sell software with the restriction that buyer could not use it in other departments of his company or a brother can not use software purchased by  his sibling. Nor the drug makers were directed to get maximum 10 year  registration. With no limitation on profiteering  the rich became richer and the poor more poor.  And all this happened in front of our eyes and we like dumbos  kept electing the same sellout politicians in turns.  Believe me, this would not have been  possible if the education was not secularized.

There is need of religion to teach norms of behavior otherwise it will become a dog eat dog world as it has.
