The 14th Malaysian Finance Association Conference 2012, is jointly organized by Graduate School of Business (GSB), Universiti Sains Malaysia and Malaysian Finance Association (MFA). The conference is a forum for scholarly interaction to discuss on various financial issues amongst researchers, policy makers and practitioners. This invitation and call for papers is not just for topics on Malaysian financial market but also on various aspects of emerging markets, especially those addressing the resilience of emerging financial markets in the path of decoupling economic growth from the present financial turbulence. Acceptance Notification: 30 Mar 2012
Camera-Ready Deadline: 30 Apr 2012
Early Bird Deadline: 30 Apr 2012
Postgraduate Colloquium: 1 June 2012
Conference: 2-3 June 2012
Award and Publication Opportunity:
Three best papers with relevant scope to Malaysia will be competitively selected and awarded a certificate and RM1000, as well as an opportunity to publish the papers in the Capital Market Review (CMR).
One best research proposal from the Postgraduate Colloquium will be acknowledged with a certificate and RM500.
Selected papers with relevant scope to regional or international emerging markets, will be invited to publish in the Asian Academy of Management Journal of Accounting and Finance (AAMJAF), a Scopus indexed journal.
