Tomorrow Friday, February 10, the Florida office of the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR-FL), in conjunction with the Islamic Community of Tampa / Masjid Al-Qassam,
will host an open house and presentation on understanding Islam at Masjid Al-Qassam .

The free event is designed to help challenge the recent rise in Islamophobic rhetoric in Tampa. It will include a question and answer session on topics such as Islamophobia, basic Muslim beliefs and practices, sharia, human rights, religious tolerance, common misconceptions about Islam, and Islam's condemnation of terrorism.
