This is a transcript of an audio tape for Amir Abul-Waleed Al-Ghamidi Rahimahullah, entitled "Chechnya after Amir Khattab", he mentions in it the political and military developments that happened after the martyrdom of Amir Khattab, especially the Majlis Al-Shura of 2002 and the military operations that followed it.

Though the absence of Amir Khattab caused a temporary setback to the Mujahideen, due to their great character and guidance from Allah Subhana wa Ta'ala, they emerged stronger and united, much to the dismay of the Kuffar and the Munafiqeen.

An important point to be noted regarding the methodology of the Mujahideen is that in spite of numerous hardships, they were not willing to compromise on even a single tenet of the Shariah of Allah, unlike the Munafiqeen who at every opportunity are eager to bow to their Kafir masters for a few crumbs of this lowly dunya at the expense of aakhirah. The reason for such a stance of the Mujahideen as stated by the Amir is:

"…regarding the mujahidin, there is no harm on them, Alhamdulillah. They have nothing between their hands to lose. The sky is their quilt and the earth is their bed. The enemies of Allah cannot take their quilt, the sky, or their bed, the earth. So our quilt is the sky and our bed is the earth and the preservation of Allah surrounds us, Alhamdulillah, the enemies of Allah cannot do anything against us. We are in worship like fasting, praying and all other acts of worship, which we cannot dispense, I swear to Allah especially after the mujahid became like the fish in water, he cannot get out of the battle field. And if one of us got killed, two, three, four, twice their number from among the mujahidin comes in their place."
