USA's New Headquarter in Region: Pentagon 2 in Islamabad

Islamabad: US embassy is based upon large and widespread land area in the diplomatic enclave of the capital city of the country. The embassy is spacious, having capacity to accommodate more than five thousand people while tanks can also be placed within the premises. Thousand armed and unarmed vehicles can also be placed in the consulate. Three helipads are being constructed at the place, where small planes can also land at time of emergency.

According to CDA, land area of around two million square feet have been allot to the US embassy for the development of their new consulate in the capital city, Islamabad. On visit to the highly secured area of the city, a huge building structure based on eight storeys would appear in front of you.  The embassy is considered to be the biggest amongst the US consulates present around the globe. The building is under construction presently.

CDA has allocated the land covering area of 1.73 million square feet according to the Floor Area Ratio (FAR) to the US embassy for the construction while area of 5.627 square feet only is permissible according to the official limitations.

 The building under construction is said to be blasts proof and nuclear protected.

This new embassy does not present the picture of less than a pentagon.

The height of the building, the secured construction, considerable wide land space in a diplomatic region of the country's capital city gives rise to a number of suspicions and questions.

Why the need of constructing such an embassy arose? Haven't the US embassy faced opposition from our politicians and the high army officials?

We have had been targeted from outside, the Osama incident had been an evident of it. So do we expect drone attacks within our country based pentagon? What does construction of such an embassy, 'pentagon' in Pakistan arise?

All these questions point out to serious alarming political, geological and sovereignty threats.
