At a time when Islam is misunderstood and misinterpreted by many as a religion of "terror" and "evil", it is important for both Muslims and Non-Muslims to recognize great Muslim figures who have not only contributed to Islamic but also World History. The timing of Peace House Productions in making a modern series of the great leader Salahadin Al Ayoubi could not be more perfect. Join this group of Muslim brothers in their project to teach Muslims and Non-Muslims alike about the life of the just and chivalrous ruler. The Salahadin crew hopes to raise money to make the life of Salahadin into a series by uploading the trailer of this series to Kickstarter.com. Kickstarter is a safe fundraising website that gives project creators a time window to raise a financial goal set by the creators themselves. If the creators do not reach their goal, the money is returned to the donors. Support this cause by sharing the video above and pledging through kickstarter.com! My friends and I have been working on the Salahadin film project for the past several months. We are a group of Muslim college students at University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida who hope to showcase and share the rich history and heritage of Islam with Muslims and Non-Muslims. We've created this trailer to show potential donors our talents and the work we are capable of producing. Please take two minutes out of your day to watch the above trailer and understand our goals for this project. We have set our goal at $80,000 on kickstarter.com, which is a low price for the work involved in a project of this magnitude. Alhamdulilah, we have raised about $35,000 so far with the help of our generous donors. We have only 22 days left to raise the remaining $45,000. We ask that you pledge anything to this project, even a dollar, because every dollar counts! Share this video with people you believe will be interested in contributing to this cause, and help us make Salahadin a reality!
